Why Does It Feel So Good To Stretch In The Morning?

Every morning, we wake up with a smile or a frown on our face. Sometimes...neutral. But one thing stays sure; you stretch your entire body like you were swimming laps in the Atlantic.
It's amazing as to how this little action makes us feel so good, yet many have wondered why it has been so over the course of their lives. A lot of people show no concern to this at all, and if you are practically one of them, you really should reconsider that.

When you sleep, lymphatic vessels contained in the muscles are compressed. The lymphatic fluid is accumulated within the vessels at night, due to the muscles being stiff for such a long period of time.

When you now stretch, blood circulation is increased as your heart circulates blood towards these muscles that are being stretched, so that they would be awakened. Stretching can really help our bodies gently massage these fluids, giving us that "this-feels-so-good" sensation.

Sometimes, the sensation can always be heightened if we expose our muscles to an immediate work-out session, right after waking up.
Stay tuned.
